Itinerary
DAY 1 Lima – Upon landing at Jorge Chávez International Airport, a representative will meet you and escort you to your selected hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure, settling into the capital city of Peru.
Day 2 Lima – Begin your day with a guided tour of Lima’s historic center. Visit the beautifully preserved Aliaga House, a colonial mansion that has been home to the same family for over 17 generations. Continue to the Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and step inside the impressive Lima Cathedral. Later, head to the Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre, where you’ll explore more than 5,000 years of ancient Peruvian history through its renowned collection of gold, silver, and ceramics—including a famous selection of erotic art.
Day 3 Lima – Cusco – After breakfast, travel to Cusco (flight not included). Upon arrival, you’ll be met and taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, set out to explore Cusco—once the capital of the Inca Empire. Visit the Santo Domingo Convent, built atop the Inca temple of Coricancha, and the grand Cathedral Basilica, which showcases colonial art and sacred treasures. Then, head into the hills surrounding the city to see the remarkable ruins of Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara, and Tambomachay.
Day 4 Cusco – Sacred Valley – This morning, travel into the Sacred Valley. First, visit Chinchero, where you’ll see Inca agricultural terraces and a 17th-century church built atop ancient ruins. Along the way, pause at scenic viewpoints overlooking the valley. Continue to the Living Museum of Yucay, where artisans demonstrate traditional Inca techniques in weaving, ceramics, silverwork, and adobe construction. After a buffet lunch at La Hanka restaurant, explore the impressive ruins of Ollantaytambo, a ceremonial site known for its massive terraces.
Day 5 Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco – Begin the day with a scenic train ride from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival, board a bus for the short ride up to Machu Picchu. Explore this legendary Inca sanctuary—an architectural masterpiece set high in the Andes and surrounded by misty peaks. After your guided visit, return to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a set lunch at Café Inkaterra, a restaurant offering beautiful river views and a fusion of traditional Andean and modern cuisine. Later, return by train to Ollantaytambo and continue to Cusco.
Day 6 Departure – Today, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to Cusco Airport for your onward flight
