Day 2 – Lima City Tour & Flight to Cusco After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Lima, one of the largest and most beautiful cities in Peru and Latin America. Founded in 1535 by the Spanish conquistadors, Lima served as the center of Spanish colonial power in South America. Originally known as the “City of Kings,” it flourished as a hub of wealth and influence, featuring magnificent cathedrals, elegant colonial mansions, and the Viceroy’s Palace. Free time follows the city tour.
Afternoon Transfer to Lima Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be met by your local representative and transferred to Hotel. Day 4 – Sacred Valley of the Incas Today you’ll explore the breathtaking Sacred Valley of the Incas, home to some of Peru’s most important archaeological sites and traditional Andean villages. Day 5 – Machu Picchu Excursion After breakfast, meet your English-speaking guide and transfer to the train station. Board the train for a scenic journey through the Andes to Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu Guided Tour Discover the legendary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, built during the reign of Emperor Pachacuti as a royal sanctuary.
