Day 1 Arrival in Lima – Arrive in Lima. Transfer to selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2 Lima – Your guide will meet you at your hotel to start a shared tour of Lima’s Historic Center. Begin at the historic Aliaga House, a colonial gem with over 500 years of history, known as the oldest residence in the Americas. Next, visit Plaza Mayor, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the grand Lima Cathedral. Conclude your day at the Larco Museum in Pueblo Libre, home to an extensive collection of pre-Hispanic artifacts, including gold, silver, and unique erotic art, offering a glimpse into over 5,000 years of Peruvian heritage. Breakfast included.
Day 3 Lima – Cusco – Our transportation service, accompanied by an English-speaking driver, will take you from your Lima hotel to Jorge Chávez International Airport for your flight to Cusco. Upon arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport, a representative and transfer service will bring you to your chosen hotel in Cusco. Embark on a shared guided tour of Cusco, the historic heart of the Inca Empire. Visit the Coricancha temple, now part of the Santo Domingo Convent, followed by the majestic Cathedral Basilica of the Virgin of the Assumption. Continue to the surrounding hills to explore the Sacsayhuaman Fortress, the Qenqo archaeological site, the Puca Pucara military complex, and Tambomachay, often called the Inca spa. Return to your hotel afterward. Breakfast included.
Day 4 Cusco – Sacred Valley – Your guide will collect you for a shared tour of the Sacred Valley, starting with the intriguing Moray archaeological site, famous for its concentric terraces that form unique microclimates. Next, head to Maras, where ancient pre-Inca salt mines, still active today, create a striking landscape of shimmering salt pools. Return to your hotel in Urubamba afterward. Breakfast included.
Day 5 Sacred Valley – Begin your shared tour from your Urubamba hotel with a visit to Chinchero, a charming village featuring Inca terraces and a 17th-century church built on an Inca palace. Stop at a scenic viewpoint to admire the Sacred Valley’s stunning landscapes. Next, explore the Living Museum of Yucay, where artisans demonstrate traditional Inca techniques for textiles, ceramics, adobe, and silverwork. Enjoy a delicious local lunch before heading to the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a significant ceremonial site with dramatic terraced slopes. Return to your hotel to relax. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 6 Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco – A shared transfer will take you from your Urubamba hotel to Ollantaytambo station, where you’ll board the Voyager train by Inca Rail to Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo). Upon arrival, receive assistance before taking a 25-minute bus ride to Machu Picchu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This architectural masterpiece, thought to be a sanctuary for Inca ruler Pachacutec, captivates with its historical and natural splendor. After your visit, return by bus to Aguas Calientes and enjoy a set lunch at Café Inkaterra, blending Andean and modern flavors with views of the Vilcanota River. Board the 360° train back to Ollantaytambo (each train journey is about 1.5 hours, subject to availability), followed by a shared transfer to your Cusco hotel. Breakfast and Lunch included.
Day 7 Departure from Cusco – A representative and our transportation service will transfer you from your Cusco hotel to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport for your flight back to Lima. Breakfast included.
