    Day 1: Quito Welcome to Ecuador! Upon arrival at Mariscal Sucre International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our staff and assisted with your transfer to the hotel. Journey takes approximately one hour, offering scenic views of the Andean landscape. Quito settle into your comfortable, modern hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening before your adventure begins.

    Day 2: Quito  City Tour & Mitad del Mundo  After breakfast, explore Quito city tour highlighting its rich history,  and colonial architecture. Old Town with its beautiful churches, rooftops, and intricate interiors showcasing the distinctive Quito School of sculpture,  Quito, founded in the 16th century is home to one of the best-preserved historic centers in Latin America. Regognized as the world’s first UNESCO Cultural Heritage site.  Afternoon visit Ciudad Mitad del Mundo, where the Equatorial Monument marks the 0-degree latitude line. Continue to the Intiñan Museum, featuring exhibits about Indigenous traditions, the Incas, and fascinating equatorial experiments. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

    Day 3: Mindo After breakfast, travel to the beautiful town of Mindo, known for its lush cloud forest.Visit a butterfly farm surrounded by orchids and hummingbirds. Experience the forest canopy from a cable car, followed by a walk through the surrounding woods. For those seeking adventure, optional zip-lining offers an exhilarating way to experience the forest from above. End the day with a chocolate tour, discovering Ecuador’s chocolate-making process.Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

    Day 4: Quilotoa Crater Lake After breakfast, a scenic drive to the spectacular Quilotoa Crater Lake. Along the way, stop at a Tigua workshop to admire vibrant local artwork depicting Andean life and traditions.  Continue to the Quilotoa Loop an emerald-green lake lies within the crater of an extinct volcano. Trek down toward the lake shore to enjoy the scenery of this remarkable natural wonder. For the return to the crater rim, you may choose to ride a mule. Kayaking on the lake is also available as an optional adventure. Return to the hotel.

    Day 5: Quito  GalápagosAfter breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to the Galápagos Islands. Upon arrival in Baltra, meet your guide and cross the Itabaca Channel to Santa Cruz Island. Continue into the highlands, where you’ll see the famous Giant Tortoises. Keep an eye out for Galápagos finches, other endemic bird species, and distinctive vegetation Scalesia forests and Matazarnos.  Later, enjoy free time to explore Puerto Ayora, with its shops, restaurants, and opportunities to browse for Galápagos souvenirs. Overnight at the hotel.

    Day 6 Bartolome Island After breakfast, set out for Bartolomé Island,  most scenic volcanic islets with dramatic volcanic formations in shades of red, orange, green, and black. Climb the volcanic cone for spectacular panoramic views, the island’s famous Pinnacle Rock. Continue to the visitor sites, where you’ll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel.  The marine life may include Galápagos penguins, sea turtles, white-tipped reef sharks, and colorful tropical fish.Return to the hotel after a full day of island exploration and snorkeling.

    Day 7: North Seymour or South Plaza Island  After breakfast, embark on an island excursion to North Seymour or South Plaza, depending on the scheduled itinerary. North Seymour small island, formed by the uplift of submarine lava formations. Its low vegetation provides an ideal habitat for an impressive variety of wildlife, including blue-footed boobies, swallow-tailed gulls, and Galápagos’ largest nesting populations of frigatebirds.  South Plaza small island rich in wildlife and scenery. Red-billed tropicbirds, swallow-tailed gulls, and Galápagos land iguanas among prickly pear cactus and colorful Sesuvium vegetation. Return to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

    Day 8: Galápagos – Departure  After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Quito or Guayaquil. This marks the end of your Ecuador and Galápagos adventure, filled with spectacular landscapes, fascinating culture, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
