Day 1: Rio de Janeiro Welcome to Brazil! Upon arrival at Rio de Janeiro International Airport, you will be greeted by your private driver and transferred to your hotel. As your plane descends into Rio de Janeiro—the “Marvelous City”—take in the breathtaking panorama of emerald mountains, golden beaches, turquoise waters, and one of the world’s most spectacular urban landscapes. During your transfer, you’ll pass colonial-era architecture, lively neighborhoods, and the city’s famous beachfront, offering your first glimpse of this vibrant destination. The rest of the day is yours to relax or begin exploring at your own pace. A stroll along the iconic mosaic promenade of Copacabana Beach is the perfect introduction to the carioca lifestyle. Watch locals play footvolley on the sand, sip a refreshing caipirinha at a beach kiosk, or simply soak in the lively atmosphere as the Atlantic waves roll ashore. Welcome to one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro After breakfast, meet your guide for a visit to the world-famous Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain. Your journey begins aboard the historic Corcovado train, which winds through the lush Tijuca National Park—the world’s largest urban rainforest. Along the way, keep an eye out for native wildlife including toucans, monkeys, colorful butterflies, and other tropical species.At the summit, 700 meters above sea level, stands the iconic 38-meter-tall statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Equally impressive are the spectacular panoramic views stretching across Rio de Janeiro. From this incredible vantage point you’ll see Guanabara Bay, Maracanã Stadium, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana and Ipanema Beaches, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, and the surrounding mountains that make Rio one of the world’s most scenic cities.
Day 3: Rio de Janeiro City Tour & Sugarloaf Mountain Today you’ll discover another of Rio’s iconic landmarks—Sugarloaf Mountain. Travel by the famous cable car in two stages, first to Urca Hill, where you can enjoy panoramic viewpoints, cafés, and restaurants overlooking Guanabara Bay. Continue to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain, where breathtaking 360-degree views reveal Copacabana Beach, the city skyline, Guanabara Bay, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, countless islands scattered across the ocean, and Christ the Redeemer watching over the city from Corcovado. Afterward, continue on a guided tour through Rio’s historic center. Discover elegant colonial architecture, beautiful churches and monasteries, the Metropolitan Cathedral, and historic squares that tell the story of Brazil’s former capital.
Day 4: Rio de Janeiro – Foz do Iguaçu After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel before beginning your exploration of one of the world’s greatest natural wonders. Located where Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay meet, Iguaçu Falls is made up of 275 spectacular waterfalls spread across nearly three kilometers. Set within a UNESCO-listed national park, the falls are surrounded by lush rainforest filled with diverse flora and fauna. The name “Iguaçu” comes from the Tupi-Guarani language and means “Great Water.” Walk along scenic viewing platforms as immense cascades plunge up to 72 meters into the dramatic Devil’s Throat canyon. The contrast between the calm river above and the immense force of the waterfalls below creates an unforgettable spectacle that showcases nature at its most powerful.
Macuco Safari Continue your adventure with the exciting Macuco Safari. Begin with a guided ride through the rainforest aboard an open electric vehicle, where your guide will introduce you to the unique ecosystem of Iguaçu National Park. A short walk leads to the banks of the Iguaçu River, where you’ll board a powerful inflatable boat for an exhilarating ride toward the base of the falls. Prepare to be surrounded by mist, rainbows, and the thunderous roar of cascading water as the boat ventures remarkably close to the falls—an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of your journey.
Bird Park Later, visit the renowned Bird Park, home to hundreds of tropical birds native to South America. Walk through walk-in aviaries where brilliantly colored macaws, toucans, flamingos, parrots, and many other exotic species fly freely through lush tropical vegetation. The park is dedicated to conservation and provides an excellent opportunity to observe Brazil’s extraordinary birdlife up close.
Day 5: Foz do Iguaçu After breakfast, cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge into Argentina to explore the Argentine side of Iguaçu Falls. While the Brazilian side offers sweeping panoramic views, the Argentine side brings you remarkably close to the waterfalls. A network of walkways allows you to experience the falls from above, beside, and below, offering a completely different perspective. The highlight is the dramatic Devil’s Throat, where an immense volume of water crashes into a horseshoe-shaped chasm, creating towering clouds of mist and a deafening roar. Surrounded by pristine rainforest, this is one of South America’s most unforgettable natural experiences.
Day 6: Foz do Iguaçu – Rio de Janeiro After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your return flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, your private driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure—perhaps relax on the beach, explore a local neighborhood, or enjoy dinner overlooking the ocean.
Day 7: Rio de Janeiro – Angra dos Reis – Paraty Depart early this morning for Angra dos Reis, one of Brazil’s most beautiful coastal regions. Board your boat for a full-day cruise through the emerald waters of Ilha Grande Bay, home to hundreds of tropical islands and secluded beaches. Stop at some of the area’s most picturesque islands to swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on white-sand beaches, or simply admire the spectacular scenery. Keep watch for dolphins, sea turtles, stingrays, and, during migration season, even whales. Lunch can be enjoyed on one of the islands (not included). Following your island adventure, continue by road to the charming colonial town of Paraty.
Day 8: Paraty Today combines nature, history, and local traditions within the beautiful Serra da Bocaina National Park. Travel through the Atlantic Forest to visit several picturesque waterfalls, including Pedra Branca Waterfall, Poço do Tarzan, and the famous Tobogã Waterfall, where smooth rock formations create a natural waterslide. There will be opportunities to swim in crystal-clear pools while learning about the area’s unique flora and fauna. Later, visit one of Paraty’s traditional cachaça distilleries to discover how Brazil’s famous sugarcane spirit has been produced since the 18th century. Learn about the distillation process and enjoy tastings of artisanal cachaças and locally made fruit liqueurs. In the evening, enjoy a walking tour through Paraty’s beautifully preserved Historic Centre. Closed to traffic, its cobblestone streets, whitewashed colonial buildings, colorful doors and windows, charming churches, and waterfront setting make it one of Brazil’s most enchanting towns.
Day 9: Paraty Full-Day Excursion to Saco do Mamanguá Today you’ll visit one of Brazil’s best-kept secrets—Saco do Mamanguá. Often described as Brazil’s only tropical fjord (technically a ria), this spectacular coastal inlet is surrounded by lush Atlantic rainforest, dramatic mountains, secluded beaches, and peaceful fishing communities. The calm, emerald waters make it an ideal destination for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing in nature. Accessible only by boat or hiking trail, Saco do Mamanguá remains largely untouched, offering a tranquil escape from the crowds. Its breathtaking scenery has also served as a filming location for several international productions. Spend the day exploring hidden beaches, quiet coves, and pristine tropical landscapes before returning to Paraty.
Day 10: Paraty After breakfast, depart Paraty and transfer to either Rio de Janeiro (approximately 4 hours) or São Paulo (approximately 5.5
