Itinerary
Day 1 RIO DE JANEIRO— Arrive in Rio de Janeiro, Meet & Greet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 2 RIO DE JANEIRO— After breakfast at the hotel, our guide will take you to red beach (Praia Vermelha) from where we take a cable car up to the Urca mountain. From here an amazing view on Rio opens up before us. We take yet another cable car up the Pao de Acucar Mountain (Sugarloaf). From here we have a wonderful view of the city nestling between the mountains and the sea, and the sight of the sun going down over Copacabana beach is magical. After riding down the cable car, we will discover the historical part of Rio. Return to lodge.
Day 3 RIO DE JANEIRO— Breakfast at the hotel. Our guide picks you up at your hotel in the morning and takes you to the bottom of the Corcovado Mountain. Here you board the little train that takes you through tropical rainforest, passing tropical trees and exotic fruits. A short walk from the final station you find yourself at the foot of impressive Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentor). Enjoy the spectacular views over Rio de Janeiro. Return to lodge.

Cultural Rio—Leave Copacabana by Metro to visit downtown Rio. Cross the Guanabara Bay on “balsas” to enjoy some of Rio’s greatest view. Continue by Metro towards Maracanã for a brief walk around (outside) one of the most famous stadiums in the world and finally return to Copacabana. Duration: 8 hours.
Tijuca Forest—Be picked up in open-air jeep, and be taken to the Tijuca Atlantic Forest. Stop at the Chinese Vista with view of Ipanema and Copacabana beaches, Guanabara Bay and Sugar Loaf. On the way back, stop at Pepino Beach to watch the hang gliders fly through the air. Duration: 4 hours.
Tropical Islands—Board a schooner where tropical fruits and the famous “calpirinha” are offered on board. Before reaching the island, where lunch is served, the schooner will make a stop for those who want to dive in clear waters of the bay. Guests can stay on the island for approx 3 hours. Duration: 8 hours. Available: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sun.
Rio at Night—A spectacular samba show with singers and dancers who present Brazil’s rich folkloric traditions ” and capture the famous rhythms of Carnival. You can choose with or without dinner. Duration: approx. 4 hours. Available: not open on Sundays.
