Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Buenos Aires  Arrival Aires airport and take a private transfer to your downtown hotel, with free time to explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2: Buenos Aires Enjoy a guided city tour covering 9 de Julio Avenue, the Obelisk, Plaza de Mayo, the Casa Rosada, Metropolitan Cathedral, and historic neighborhoods including La Boca, San Telmo, Recoleta, Palermo, and modern Puerto Madero. In the evening, take a shared transfer to Tango Porteño for a three-course Argentine dinner with wine, accompanied by a live tango performance.

Day 3: Buenos Aires Montevideo Take a three-hour ferry to Montevideo, Uruguay for a guided city tour visiting Plaza Independencia, 18 de Julio Avenue, the Palacio Legislativo, Mercado Agrícola, the Prado neighborhood, Estadio Centenario, and the coastal Rambla before returning to Buenos Aires by ferry.

Day 4: Buenos Aires Iguazu Transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazú, followed by a transfer to your hotel upon arrival in Foz do Iguaçu.

Day 5: Iguazu Tour the Brazilian side of Iguazú Falls along the 1,200-meter walkway for panoramic views of its 275 cascades and the Devil’s Throat. Afterward, take a open-top jeep safari through the jungle followed by a speedboat ride up the Iguazú River near the falls with Macuco Safari, then visit the adjacent Bird Park (Parque das Aves) to walk through tropical aviaries housing over 500 exotic birds.

Day 6: Uguazu Spend the day exploring the Argentine side of Iguazú Falls via the Ecological Jungle Train, walking the Lower Circuit (1,700 m) to the base of Bosetti Fall, the Upper Circuit (1,300 m) along the upper fall rim, and the walkway (1,000 m) out to the Devil’s Throat.

Day 7: Iguazu Salta Cafayate Transfer to the airport for your flight to Salta, followed by a scenic 3-hour drive to the wine region of Cafayate. Tour a local winery to learn about the winemaking process and sample local varietals, with free time to explore the main square, visit the Wine Museum, and check into a vineyard hotel.

Day 8: Cafayae Salta Drive from Cafayate back toward Salta through Los Cardones National Park, stopping to view its high-altitude landscape filled with centuries-old giant cacti and local artisan craft stalls.

Day 9: Salta Puntamamarca Drive 4 hours from Salta to Purmamarca, exploring the UNESCO-listed Quebrada de Humahuaca gorge, the Seven Colors Mountain, the historic Rosa de Lima Church, the pre-Columbian Pucará fortress in Tilcara, and the colonia

Day 10: Puntamamarca  Salta Take an excursion along Route 9 to the high-altitude salt flats of Salinas Grandes, stopping at picturesque Andean villages on the 4-hour return trip to Salta.

Day 11: Salta Mendoza  Transfer to the airport for your flight to Mendoza, with a private transfer to your hotel and the remainder of the day at leisure to explore the city.

Day 12: Mendoza Lujan Join a guided group tour through the Luján de Cuyo valley—the heartland of Argentine Malbec—visiting three wineries for guided tours and tastings, concluding with a multi-course lunch overlooking the Andes Mountains.

Day 13: Uco Valley  Take a guided group tour to the high-altitude Uco Valley, visiting two boutique wineries for tastings followed by a scenic lunch set against the Andean backdrop.

Day 14: Mendoza Bariloche Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bariloche. Upon arrival, check into your hotel before taking a catamaran cruise across Lake Nahuel Huapi to explore Victoria Island and the rare cinnamon-barked Arrayanes Forest.

Day 15: Bariloche Embark on the full-day “Great Circle” (Circuito Grande) overland tour, driving along the Limay River valley to the Amphitheater viewpoint, passing through Cuchín Manzano, crossing Lake Traful to the Traful Lookout, stopping in Villa Traful for lunch, and returning via Villa La Angostura and Correntoso Lake.

Day 16: Bariloche Take a 65 km panoramic drive along the Short Circuit (Circuito Chico), stopping at Playa Bonita overlooking Huemul Island and riding the chairlift up Mount Campanario (1,050 m) for 360-degree views over Lake Nahuel Huapi, Lake Moreno, and the Llao Llao Peninsula.

Day 17: Bariloche El Calafate Transfer to the airport for your flight to El Calafate, with a hotel transfer upon landing and a free afternoon to explore the town.

Day 18: El Calafate Take a full-day tour to the UNESCO-listed Perito Moreno Glacier, viewing its 60-meter-high ice walls and dramatic ice ruptures from the extensive network of coastal wooden walkways in Los Glaciares National Park.

Day 19: El Calafate El Chalten Transfer to the El Calafate bus station to take a regional bus to the mountain town of El Chaltén, checking into your hotel upon arrival with the evening at leisure.

Day 20: El Chalten  Enjoy a free day in El Chaltén for independent self-guided trekking along the self-marked trails toward Mount Fitz Roy or Cerro Torre.

Day 21: El Chalten  Spend the morning self-trekking or kayaking before taking an afternoon transfer to the bus station for your return bus to El Calafate, checking into your hotel upon arrival.

Day 22: Torres del Paine Take a full-day guided excursion across the border into Chile to explore Torres del Paine National Park, visiting the ancient Milodon Cave, the granite spires of the Paine massif, Salto Grande waterfall, and Lake Pehoé.

Day 23: El Calafate  Ushuaia Transfer to the airport for your flight to Ushuaia. Check into your hotel with free time in the afternoon, or take an optional boat excursion to Martillo Island ($400 p/p) to walk among Magellanic and Gentoo penguins.

Day 24: Ushuaia Embark on a 4×4 off-road excursion crossing the Fuegian Andes via Garibaldi Pass to reach Lake Escondido and Lake Fagnano, navigating old logging trails, muddy tracks, and dense sub-Antarctic forest.

Day 25: Ushuaia Take a guided group excursion through Tierra del Fuego National Park—the world’s southernmost reserve—traveling along the Beagle Channel to visit the Pipo River, Ensenada Bay, Lake Roca, beaver dams, and Lapataia Bay at the end of National Route 3.

Day 26: Ushuaia Buenos Aires  Enjoy free time in Ushuaia before taking a transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Buenos Aires to connect to your international flight home.
