Itinerary Overview
Day 1: Arrival & Mendoza Piedmont Horseback Ride You will arrive in Mendoza at noon for a meet and greet before transferring to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will head to the base to begin a horseback riding adventure across the Mendoza Piedmont. Return to the base in the evening for a traditional Argentine asado and local wine around a campfire, followed by a transfer back to Mendoza.
Day 2: Aconcagua National Park & Confluencia Camp Trek Depart Mendoza in the morning for a 3-hour drive to Aconcagua National Park. Your trek begins on the path leading to Horcones Lagoon at 2,950 meters above sea level, followed by a 1-hour hike to the hanging bridge over the Horcones River. Upon arriving at Confluencia Camp, you will enjoy a box lunch, rest, and then return to Mendoza in the afternoon.
Day 3: Del Cóndor Gorge & Potrerillos Trek Today you will drive to Del Cóndor Gorge via Potrerillos and begin trekking through an area rich in local flora and fauna, keeping an eye out for condors, foxes, and hares. Walk to the viewpoint for spectacular views of the Del Plata Mountain Range and Potrerillos Valley. Enjoy lunch before returning to Mendoza in the afternoon.
Day 4: Mendoza to Uco Valley — Wine & Bike Tour Head to the Uco Valley to embark on a unique cycling experience through some of Mendoza’s most beautiful landscapes. You will ride between 25 and 35 km by bicycle, visiting wineries and sampling local wines along the way. Stop at La Azul, a small boutique winery with its own vineyards, then continue to Bodega Salentein to taste three fine wines and visit Espacio Killka, a one-of-a-kind art gallery. Finish at either Atamisque or Andeluna winery for a tour and an excellent gourmet lunch. You will spend the night in the Uco Valley.
Day 5: Uco Valley to Mendoza — Departure Transfer from the Uco Valley to the Mendoza airport for your onward journey.
Important Operational Notes
Winery Availability & Schedules: Wineries and their visiting order are subject to change based on availability. Bodega Salentein and Espacio Killka are closed on Mondays.
Seasonal Trekking Adjustments: The trek to Confluencia operates from November to March; during the rest of the year, it is replaced by the High Mountain Tour. The trek to Potrerillos Gorge does not operate from June to September and is replaced during those months by the Rincón de los Oscuros horse ride.
