The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust’s elephant Orphanage is a small charity, established in 1977 by Dr. Dame Daphne Sheldrick to honor the memory of her husband, famous Naturalist, David Sheldrick, the founder Warden of Tsavo East National Park in Kenya. For over 25 years Kenya born Daphne lived and worked alongside her late husband and during that time she raised and rehabilitated back into the wild orphans of misfortune from many different wild species, including elephants aged two and upwards. Our guide will recommend a location where you can enjoy lunch. Not included
After lunch we visit to the Giraffe Centre which offers the unique experience of hand-feeding these gentle giants at eye level from a raised platform, while watching the warthogs below snuffle around looking for titbits
We will then do a small city tour to view Nairobi. Late afternoon return to hotel

After breakfast you will proceed to Amboseli National Park by road arriving at your lodge in time for lunch.

Amboseli is often called the ‘Land of Giants’ – due to the impressive elephants here carrying massive tusks. The animals are set against breathtaking vistas of Mt Kilimanjaro, which makes an awesome backdrop to the small park. Aside from elephants, many plains animals are easy to spot. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch & DinnerDay 5: Amboseli National Park –Lake Elementeita (via Nairobi) After breakfast you will head to Lake Elementeita via Nairobi. Lunch will be at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru lies another of Kenya’s alkaline lakes – Lake Elementaita. Set within the eastern portion of the Rift Valley, the lake was produced approximately 12 million years ago, and today much of the lake is part of the private Soysambu Conservancy

Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch at Carnivore Restaurant & DinnerDay 6: Lake Elementeita with a full day visit to Lake Nakuru National Park As agreed by your guide, you will have breakfast at the recommended time. After breakfast you will depart with box lunch to Lake Nakuru National Park Enjoy game drive inside the park with box lunches as well.
Lake Nakuru National Park is best known for its migrating flamingos and its large flocks of pelicans, however, recently the lake’s rising water levels has reduced the salinity of water in the lake thereby reducing algae, the main food for flamingoes. When this happens the migrating flamingoes move to Lake Bogoria. There are over 450 bird species at the lake and a thriving mammal population including buffalos, baboons, impalas, Rothschild giraffe, bush backs and waterbucks. A rhino sanctuary was established to protect this highly endangered species. The parkland surrounding the Lake has acacia and euphorbia forests as well as areas of grassland and rocky cliffs.

Today, you will proceed for Masai Mara Game Reserve arriving at your lodge in time for lunch. Lunch will be served followed by a short siesta. In the afternoon you will visit the traditional Maasai Manyatta for cultural experience.
Masai Mara is one of Africa’s greatest wildlife reserves. Acacia dotted plains, tree-lined rivers and woodlands are abundant with wildlife and an array of birdlife. Game viewing is spectacular year round; you may see a pride of lions stalking their prey, observe a herd of elephant and their fascinating social structure, or see pods of hippo wallowing in the rivers. This day will be spent game viewing in Kenya’s finest wildlife park, the Masai Mara National Reserve in search of Africa’s Big Five and the plethora of other wildlife inhabiting this vast Kenyan game reserve.
On clear days, the Masai Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunset’s well-worth capturing on camera. The Masai Mara Game Reserve has incredible wide-open landscapes and fertile riverine woodland following the looping meanders of the Mara and Talek rivers in Kenya. One glimpse is enough to explain its appeal; it is classical open savannah, with a mass of amazing wildlife.
Hot-air balloon trips are an entirely outstanding way of seeing the savannah plains teeming with wildlife. These Masai Mara balloon trips can be arranged at extra cost. Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Breakfast will be served at your camp/Lodge in the Mara. After breakfast you will check out from your tent /lodge and you will proceed to Nairobi.
Upon arrival in Nairobi, our guide will recommend for you a location for lunch. Not included. We will then Visit Karen Blixen Museum offers a glimpse of typical colonial life in Kenya. The house was once the center piece of a farm owned by Danish Author Karen and her Swedish Husband, Baron Bror von Blixen. The museum gained international fame with the release of the Oscar winning film ‘Out of Africa’, which is based on Karen’s life. Afterwards you will be dropped at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight home by 1700Hrs at JKIA.
