Portugal a small country, but rich in history, and culture.  This 6-day mini vacation starts from  Lisbon and travels north to the vineyards of the Douro Valley. Lisbon sits on the right bank of the extensive Tagus estuary, the capital of Portugal a cosmopolitan city. Its exceptional light that enchants writers, photographers and filmmakers, the typical neighborhoods that rise in the hills and from where stands the ocher color of the roofs, the vibrancy of the tiles of the facades and the tortuous alleyways of the old districts give the peculiar atmosphere of city between northern Europe and the southern Mediterranean.  Explore the culture, history, and local gastronomy as you travel from Liston to Porto. Not to miss the finest attractions Portugal has to offer.  Short visit to walled town of Obidos or Coimbra. Porto is one of the oldest European centres, and its medieval centre was proclaimed a World Heritage Site.  A beautiful city filled with charm ancient architecture and nestled in the leading wine region of Douro Valley. Amazing cuisine combined with wine makes this area of Portugal a new food destination.

  Day 1:  Lisbon 
  Arrival to Lisbon airport. Meet and greet by an Osiris repre-sentant and departure for a sightseeing tour of Lisbon: the old quarters of Alfama Moorish quarter, Baixa, Praça do Comércio, Belem quarter with its monuments, Jerónimos monastery, the Discoveries Monument, the Belem Tower. Check-in at hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
  Overnight in Lisbon.

  Day 2:  Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Lisbon
  Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from the hotel towards Sin-tra, a magnificent UNESCO World Heritage village. Discover the charms and history of Sintra, starting with the visit to the ro-mantic National Pena Palace, the town’s ex-libris. Enjoy explor-ing the historic center and taste the local sweet delicacies: travesseiros and queijadas. The next stage of the tour will be stopping at the westernmost point of mainland Europe, Cabo da Roca. On the way to Cascais along the coast, appreciate the seascape. In Estoril, we highlight the gardens of the largest Ca-sino in Europe. Return to the hotel.

  Breakfast at the hotel. Day at leisure.
  Overnight in Lisbon.

  Day 4:  Lisbon/ Porto
  Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Departure to Porto. Arrive Porto check-in at the hotel. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.

  Day 5:  Porto
  Breakfast at the hotel. The city of Oporto is rich in well-pre-served treasures, including Gothic, Baroque and Neoclassical monuments, as the Cathedral, the Tower of Clérigos and the area of Ribeira (UNESCO world heritage site). Despite a stark preservation of ancient monuments and being a traditional city, Oporto also stands out for having ultra-modern buildings, much admired by international architects: Casa da Música, Ser-ralves Foundation, among many others. Visit to a Wine Cellar of Port with a superb view over the old Ribeira.

  Day 6:  Porto
  Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Private transfer from the hotel to Porto airport. ***end of services***
