  Day1: Arrival in Catania Upon arrival at Catania airport, handle your car rental formalities before driving to your hotel. Spend the afternoon relaxing and unwinding from your journey with an overnight stay in Catania.

  Day2: Agrigento & Mazara Del Vallo  Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before driving to Agrigento to explore the magnificent Valley of the Temples. Walk among the ancient Greek ruins, including the Temple of Juno, the remarkably well-preserved Temple of Concorde, the Temple of Hercules, and the Temple of Castor and Pollux. You can also wander through the lush Garden of the Kolymbethra, an archaeological and naturalistic site nestled in a green basin. Afterward, continue your drive toward the west coast for your overnight stay in Mazara del Vallo.

  Day3: Segesta, Eroce & Marsala Wine Tasting Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic drive to Segesta to admire its majestic Doric temple set against a sweeping landscape. Continue upward to the medieval hilltop town of Erice, where winding stone streets offer breathtaking views, and visit the historic Castle of Venus, the Matrice Church, and the Balio Garden. Stop at Maria Grammatico’s famous pastry shop to taste traditional convent desserts before heading down to the coast. Explore the natural salt pans and Salt Museum of Marsala, then experience a guided tour and wine tasting at the historic Cantine Florio, immersing yourself in the rich aromas of aging oak barrels. Return to your hotel in Mazara del Vallo for the night.

  Day4: Palermo & Monreale After breakfast at the hotel, head north to the charming hill town of Monreale to marvel at its breathtaking cathedral, celebrated worldwide for its stunning golden Norman mosaics and sweeping views over the Conca d’Oro valley. Stop to enjoy a traditional Sicilian arancina street food tasting before continuing into Palermo, Sicily’s vibrant capital. Discover iconic landmarks including the grand Teatro Massimo, the lively and historic Capo Market, the magnificent Palermo Cathedral, the Palatine Chapel, and the bustling Quattro Canti square, with free time to explore before returning to Mazara del Vallo for the night.

  Day 5: Piazza Armerina & Mount Etna  Following breakfast at the hotel, depart across the island toward the Etna region, stopping along the way at Piazza Armerina to tour the Villa Romana del Casale. Marvel at over 3,500 square meters of extraordinary 4th-century Roman polychrome mosaics, including the famous “Girls in Bikinis” and the dramatic Great Hunt scenes, which offer a vivid look into ancient aristocratic luxury. Continue your drive toward the slopes of Mount Etna, winding through changing volcanic landscapes until you reach your luxurious accommodation for the evening at the 5-star Picciolo Etna Golf Resort & Spa, Curio Collection by Hilton.

  Day 6: Mount Etna & Taormina  Begin your day with breakfast at the hotel before ascending Mount Etna, Europe’s tallest active volcano, through striking lava fields and lush vegetation up to the Silvestri Craters at 1,900 meters. For a closer look at the lunar landscape, you have the option to take cable cars and 4×4 vehicles up to 3,000 meters, weather permitting. On your way down, visit a local beekeeper to taste artisanal honey, followed by a curated tasting of distinctive mineral-rich Etna wines. In the afternoon, journey to the elegant cliffside resort town of Taormina to stroll its medieval alleys, visit the ancient Greek-Roman Theatre overlooking the Ionian Sea, and enjoy dinner at a traditional local restaurant before settling in for the night.

  Day 7: Syracuse, Noto & Etna views  Wake up to a peaceful breakfast overlooking the majestic slopes of Mount Etna before embarking on a day exploring two of Sicily’s premier UNESCO World Heritage treasures. Begin in Syracuse with a visit to the Neapolis Archaeological Park, where you can marvel at the ancient Greek Theatre, the Roman Amphitheatre, and the legendary Ear of Dionysius. Continue to the enchanting island of Ortigia, the historical heart of the city, to wander through picturesque streets and elegant piazzas leading to the magnificent Cathedral built over ancient Greek columns. Afterward, journey to Noto, the undisputed capital of Sicilian Baroque architecture. Walk through the monumental entrance gate and stroll down Corso Vittorio Emanuele to admire ornate aristocratic palaces, wrought-iron balconies, and the grand staircase of the Noto Cathedral. While exploring the historic center, treat yourself to an optional pastry tasting at the renowned Caffè Sicilia, savoring legendary artisanal granita and traditional Sicilian sweets crafted by one of Italy’s most celebrated pastry chefs. Return to your hotel for your final evening and overnight stay.

  Day 8: DEPARTURE – After a final relaxing breakfast, conclude your Sicilian adventure with a drive back to the airport for your departure flight, carrying with you unforgettable memories of island culture, history, and flavor.
