  Day 1 – Arrival in Benevello Welcome to Benevello, a small village in Italy’s Piedmont region, known for its rolling hills, vineyards, and well-preserved historic charm. Your stay will be at a luxurious country relais, a beautifully restored 19th-century villa set in the countryside, just a 10-minute drive from Rocche dei Sette Fratelli and Viticoltori Rodello. The property features an outdoor swimming pool and sauna—perfect for relaxing after your journey. Enjoy dinner at the hotel’s excellent restaurant or choose from one of Benevello’s outstanding local restaurants.

  Day 2 – Benevello After breakfast, depart from your hotel for a full-day excursion through the renowned Barolo and Barbaresco wine regions, accompanied by a local winemaker.  Discover two of Piedmont’s most prestigious wines with an insider’s perspective on how these celebrated reds are crafted. Along a local winemaker, explore the historic Langhe wine country, where you’ll visit traditional wineries and underground cellars while learning about the unique terroir, microclimates, and winemaking techniques that make Barolo and Barbaresco world-famous. Enjoy guided winery tours, exclusive wine tastings, and a leisurely lunch at a traditional cellar. Along the way, take in the breathtaking scenery of rolling, vineyard-covered hills and picturesque medieval villages. Visit renowned wineries for guided tours and premium wine tastings. Enjoy lunch at a traditional winery in the heart of the Langhe. Learn about the history, terroir, and production of Piedmont’s most iconic wines. Visit the celebrated wine villages of Barolo, Barbaresco, La Morra, and Castagnole delle Lanze.

  Day 3 – Benevello to Fontanafredda After breakfast, take a short taxi ride (approximately 19 km) to Fontanafredda. Today’s walk follows the peaceful Tanaro River through oak forests where pheasants and partridges are often seen. The trail is gentle and easy, making for a relaxing introduction to the Langhe countryside. Along the way, you’ll see Roddi Castle, then continue to Grinzane Cavour, home to its magnificent castle and panoramic vineyard views. Your day ends at the historic Fontanafredda Wine Estate in Serralunga d’Alba, surrounded by rolling vineyards. Enjoy a guided tour of the estate’s historic wine cellars followed by a tasting of three wines.   Day 4 – Fontanafredda Today is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Relax at the wine estate, enjoy another wine tasting in the historic cellars, or stroll to the medieval village of Serralunga d’Alba, where you can visit its impressive 13th-century castle. Alternatively, take a short taxi ride (approximately 15 km) to Alba, widely regarded as the cultural heart of the Langhe. Famous for its world-class wines, exceptional cuisine, elegant boutiques, and lively piazzas, Alba is considered one of the most beautiful and vibrant towns in Piedmont.   Day 5 – Fontanafredda to La Morra Today’s walk begins with an uphill climb through vineyards toward Castiglione Falletto before continuing to the small village of Annunziata,  you’ll find a beautifully frescoed chapel and the opportunity to stop at a traditional farmhouse trattoria.  Lunch not included. The route continues through picturesque hamlets and vine-covered hills before arriving in La Morra, often called the “Balcony of the Langhe” thanks to its spectacular panoramic views across the surrounding valleys and vineyards. Following your walk, return to Fontanafredda by a short taxi transfer. Overnight: Fontanafredda Wine Estate

  Day 6 – Monforte d’Alba After breakfast, enjoy a private transfer (approximately 20 km) to Monforte d’Alba. Check into your hotel, take time to explore this charming medieval village. Highlights include: The open-air Auditorium Horszowski, built within the ruins of an ancient church and renowned for its exceptional acoustics and summer concertThe historic Saracca District, the oldest part of town, featuring narrow brick lanes, stone archways, and centuries-old hillside homes. At 4:00 p.m., join a small-group winery experience at a family-owned estate. Tour the vineyards, part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Langhe wine region, and visit the Luigi Arnulfo museum. Your tasting includes two of Piedmont’s finest products—wine and chocolate—carefully paired to enhance their flavors. You’ll also discover the unique Barolo Chinato, a traditional aromatized wine. This memorable 90-minute experience offers an extraordinary journey through the history, culture, traditions, and exceptional wines of the Langhe, perfectly complemented by artisan Piedmont chocolate.

  Day 7 – Culinary Experience & Cooking Class Begin your day with an unforgettable culinary adventure.  Meet your private driver and travel to a traditional local market nestled among the beautiful Langhe hills. Accompanied by your chef, you’ll learn how to select the finest seasonal ingredients. From fresh vegetables to regional specialties while discovering what makes authentic Italian produce so exceptional. Back in the kitchen, prepare a selection of classic Piedmontese dishes under the guidance of your professional chef, who will share techniques, stories, and insights gained from more than 13 years of culinary experience. After the class, sit down to enjoy the delicious meal you’ve prepared, featuring the fresh ingredients purchased at the market. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure.
