So you love pizza (you’re dying to know how to prepare an authentic Italian one), you crave gelato, and you’d love to get out of the city and discover the amazing Tuscan countryside.

  Tour Start 6:00 pm
  This culinary experience will give you the opportunity to uncover all the secrets of these three great wonders of Italy in the exclusive atmosphere of a small group tour.
  Travel by comfortable minivan that will take you out of Florence on a beautiful 25 min drive. The setting for your cooking class is in a Tuscan Farmhouse, immersed in  the magnificent countryside.
  You will first, learn how to grow organic vegetables exploring our little garden with the chef and, if available, picking the freshest vegetable ingredients and Tuscan herbs, right from the plants. What you will pick will depend on the season.
  Then, all the magic of pizza making is about to take place in our kitchen. The breathtaking scenery of the green of cypresses and oaks, your marble worktable awaits you.  Your hands will soon get dirty with flour as you prepare your pizza dough.
  Everyone will be able to prepare his/her own Pizza from scratch: Prepare the dough and while it rests you will learn about  Gelato (Italian Ice-Cream) making and its origins. Observe a demonstration of home-made gelato. Continue working your dough and stretch out your pizza into its round shape.  Add your favorite toppings on top and there we go, “in forno!”: you’ll learn to master the instant magical movement of the pizza peel and load your pizza straight into the oven in the blink of an eye (you’ll scoop it from table to paddle without even moving the toppings!).
  We guarantee it will be the best Pizza you have ever tasted, and you’ll will have learned how easy it is to replicate our secret recipe at home!
  In an informal and friendly atmosphere, you’ll enjoy eating your marvelous handmade dinner and a delicious gelato.
  On the spot where it has been produced for,  you’ll taste renowned Chianti Wine while you cook and eat your pizza.
  Your wonderful evening ends with views of  Florence at night bathed in bright shining lights.  The view is breathtaking from the Chianti hills.
  Before you depart for your return journey back to Florence you will receive a certificate of participation and a recipe booklet so you can prepare an Italian Pizza for your friends and family back home.

  Vegetarians are more than welcome on this cooking class, as they will be able to cook with a recipe for vegetarian. Please inform us in advance.
