  Day 1: Ajaccio

  Arrival at Ajaccio airport. Pick up rental car and transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Ajaccio.

  Day 2: Ajaccio – Corte – Evisa – Ajaccio

  Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Corte, set on a rocky promontory at 450 meters, between the Tavignanu and Restonica valleys. Visit the 15th-century citadel, known as the “Eagle’s Nest,” and enjoy panoramic views of central Corsica’s mountains, lakes, and forests.
  Continue to Evisa, a mountain village near the Col de Vergio. Drive along the D84 through the Niolu plain and Scala di Santa Regina gorge, with red granite cliffs and natural pools along the Golo River. Return to Ajaccio. Overnight.

  Day 3: Ajaccio – Calvi – Bastia

  Breakfast. Drive through the Agriates Desert and the hilltop villages of Balagne. Visit Calvi, with its citadel, marina, long beach, and surrounding pine forests. Some traditions cite Calvi as the birthplace of Christopher Columbus. Continue to Bastia. Overnight.

  Day 4: Bastia – St Florent – Cap Corse – Sisco – Bastia

  Breakfast. Drive to St Florent, a historic Genoese town and seaside resort. Continue around Cap Corse, known for dramatic peaks, Genoese towers, and fishing villages including Nonza, Pino, Santa Severa, Pietracorbara, and Sisco. Return to Bastia. Overnight.

  Day 5: Bastia – Aléria – Bonifacio – Porto Vecchio

  Breakfast. Visit Porto Vecchio, a citadel town built by the Genoese in 1539. Drive along the east coast to Aléria, exploring the archaeological site with Roman ruins, necropolis, forum, temple, baths, and museum exhibits. See San Marcelo Church and the remains of Diana’s Tower. Continue to Bonifacio for a city visit, then on to Porto Vecchio. Overnight.

  Day 6: Porto Vecchio – Bavella – Sartène – Ajaccio

  Breakfast. Drive to the Bavella Needles in the Mount Incudine massif. Continue to Sartène, considered the most Corsican of Corsican towns. Stop en route at the 13th-century Spin’à Cavallu bridge, an example of Pisan architecture. Continue to Ajaccio. Overnight.

  Day 7: Ajaccio

  Breakfast. Return rental car. End of services.
