Leave the bustle of Milan behind and travel in comfort toward the natural splendor of the Alps. In just one hour, you will find yourself crossing into Switzerland, surrounded by magnificent peaks, shimmering glacial lakes, and the legendary villas that define the region’s glamour. This journey is designed to immerse you in the quiet serenity of the mountains while showcasing the most picturesque villages of Northern Italy and Southern Switzerland.
The adventure begins at the world-renowned Lake Como. There is no better way to explore this iconic destination than with a relaxing two-hour cruise across its stunning waters. From the deck, you’ll have a front-row seat to the dramatic mountainous landscape and the opulent estates of the rich and famous. Your guide will highlight George Clooney’s historic residence as well as the magnificent villas that served as backdrops for the Star Wars and James Bond franchises.
Following the cruise, you will arrive at the “Pearl of Lake Como,” the celebrated town of Bellagio. You will have plenty of free time here to explore at your own pace. Whether you choose to wander the steep, stone-paved alleys for high-end shopping or simply relax with a glass of wine in a charming lakeside bistro, the magical atmosphere of Bellagio is sure to enchant you. Once you’ve soaked in the lakeside charm, you’ll rejoin your vehicle for a scenic drive across the border.
In less than an hour, you will reach Lugano, often referred to as the “Monte Carlo of Switzerland.” This elegant Italian-speaking city sits on the shores of its own stunning lake and serves as a premier holiday destination for international stars. For art lovers, a visit to the church of Santa Maria degli Angioli is essential; it houses Bernardino Luini’s Passion and Crucifixion, a Renaissance masterpiece so refined it is often compared to the work of Leonardo Da Vinci.
If you prefer a more leisurely afternoon, you can explore Lugano’s sophisticated city center. The streets are lined with boutiques offering luxury goods and, of course, the world’s finest Swiss chocolate. After a full day of Alpine wonders, you will return to Milan in the late afternoon, arriving perfectly in time for your dinner arrangements.
The tour departs at 08:30 AM and concludes at 04:30 PM, spanning a total duration of 8 hours. For your convenience, pickup is provided directly from your hotel, provided it is centrally located and accessible.
