300 million years ago, when massive colonies of corals began multiplying in a shallow, peaceful sea, building reefs of over one thousand meters in height. After they had surfaced, the coral reefs have been moulded by atmospheric agents into the sharp complex shapes which can be admired today.   Day 1:  Arrival and Check-In
  Individual arrival to Fiera di Primiero, hotel accommodation and following meeting with the tour leader and the rest of the group. Dinner at the hotel.

  Day 2: Pale di San Martino Dolomite Group
  Breakfast at your hotel and departure to Val Canali, one of the most beautiful alpine valleys, the southern gate to the Pale di San Martino dolomite group. The road that takes visitors to the mouth of the valley is highly evocative, winding its way beneath the ruins of the ancient Castel Petra. Main features of this extraordinary landscape are the meadows of Piereni, located on the western slope of the valley at more than 1,200 m above sea level. The leading economic activities in the area continue to be farming and sheep breeding.
  Visit to Villa Welsperg, one of the visitors centres of Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino park, where you learn details about the Val Canali and the Natural park, so that you will enjoy your experience with better knowledge. Walking tour 3.5 km long in the park; we will afterwards go to the holiday farm Dalaip dai Pape for a visit and lunch. Free time to relax. In the afternoon, departure to Mezzano village: after a walk in this typical medieval village, one of “the most beautiful villages of Italy”, we will visit the local BioNoc’ brewery. In the recent years, craft breweries became very popular all over the world; by visiting this brewery, you will understand how measures taken in the care of the environmental safety, using sustainable energy with their own hop plantations. Return to Fiera di primiero, dinner and overnight.

  Day 3: Breakfast at hotel and check out. Departure by bus and travel along the Rolle pass to reach the visitors centre of Paneveggio.  Enjoy a One hour excursion along the Marciò path, easy and accessible for everyone. This part of the park is also known as “the violins forest” . It is said that Stradivari himself used to wander about the Paneveggio forest in search of suitable trees to make his violins; still today the violins makers come from all over  Europe to choose the best trees for their instruments. Return to Fiera di primiero and lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, walking visit to Fiera di Primiero centre with a visit to the Mine Palace. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  Day 4: After breakfast departure by bus to reach one of the most beautiful spots of the region: Today’s excursion will take you by cable car to a lunar landscape, in the heart of the Dolomites at more than 2.500 mt. You will be astonished by the Dolomite peaks, for thousands of years shaped by the snow, wind and water. Free time (mountain hut available). return to San Martino di Castrozza and free time. Lunch at your leisure. In the afternoon, visit to a mountain herbs farm. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

  Day 5: Hotel breakfast. Departure by bus to the cable car depot, which will take us up to Alpe Tognola at 2.200 mt. By walking about 20 minutes, we will reach the balcony overlooking the Dolomites, a panoramic spot with breathtaking views over the Pale di San Martino and the Lagorai chain. Free time to enjoy the view and relax. Return to San Martino di Castrozza, lunch at your leisure. .***end of services***
