    Explore one of the oldest town on the Adriatic Coast. Split is situated on a peninsula and surrounded by historical towns and settlements. We shall take a walk through the 4th-century Diocletian’s Palace and its ancient Cellars, the Peristyle, Roman temples (today Christian ones) – the Cathedral and the Baptistery, and then the famous Golden Gate. After a sightseeing tour of the town of Split and some free time for individual exploring, we continue towards Trogir. Trogir is  a small town under the cultural protection of UNESCO, which arose from the ancient Tragurion and is full of buildings and monuments testifying to its rich history.     Depart your hotel and soon you will find yourself in the heart of this magnificent Old Town. A walking tour includes a visit to the Cathedral of St. Anastasia, the finest example of Romanesque architecture in Zadar with a notable W front from 1324. It is dedicated to St. Anastasia whose stone sarchophagus is in the apse to the left of the high altar. Further on your way you will pass by the Church of St. Donatus which is believed to have been built by Bishop Donatus on Roman foundations at the beginning of the 9th century.     Leaving Zadar our first stop will be the Royal Vineyards. On the picturesque hills above the coastal villages of Petrčane and Punta Skala, the vineyards were erected in the extreme conditions, on the rocky soil with an optimum slope towards southwest and with constant circulation of  air from the sea and from the nearby Velebit mountain. Top quality grapes from the stone vineyards and excellent taste of wines are  results of a special microclimate, its position by the sea and a full day of direct sun exposure, on average 2600 hours per year. Petrčane is in unique harmony with nature, with impressive landscape colors of green vineyards, blue sky, hot sun and clear blue sea. The view from the vineyards is overlooking the city of Zadar, the islands of the Zadar archipelago and Velebit. Our next stop is a small town of Nin. On a small island in the middle of a shallow lagoon the town of Nin can be found with its old centre, connected to the mainland by two stone bridges.
