    Discover Slovenia’s nature and culture in this self guided hiking and campervan adventure. You will not experience Slovenia the regular touristy way.  Arrive Ljubljana and travel directly to Bled. Start your adventure from Bled and your route will take you through amazing landscapes small, charming towns, coastal fishing villages, fairy-tale castle of Predjama suspended in the cliff, Go rafting on the  Rafting on Soča river.  You will end In Ljubljana with time to discover this vibrant city filled with artists, galleries and museums

    Day 1:  Arrival Ljubljana Airport
    After baggage retrieval meet by our driver and transfer transfer to the campervan pick up point.  Start your adventure by driving to Bled area and overnight in campsite of your choice. .

    Day 2: Bled
    Today you will meet your English speaking hiking guide and visit the town of Bled, known as the pearl of the Alpine region. Your day begins with a short hike around Bled (difficulty: moderate; duration: approx. 3 hours). The path brings us near the banks of Lake Bled through small neighboring villages before turning into the Vintgar gorge, dug by the Radovna river. It is one of the most visited natural monuments in Slovenia. The gorge is 1,600 meters long and ends with the Šum waterfall, the largest river cascade in Slovenia. As you walk, you can admire the crystal-clear waters of the river, its rapids and ponds. At the end of the gorge you return to Bled passing villages like Zasip. Arriving in Bled, lunch at the local restaurant. In the afternoon take the traditional boat ride called “pletna” to visit the islet in the middle of the lake where you also visit the church. Overnight in Bled area in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 3:  Soča Valley
    Departure to the Soča valley, the valley of the emerald river of the same name. Its course is dotted with waterfalls, small falls, rapids and narrow gorges cut in the rock. On its way, the water has dug remarkable basins and gorges. This morning leave on the river for an adventure full of adrenaline – rafting! Rafting on Soča is one of the most beautiful adventures you can experience in Slovenia and it gives you the chance to experience the beauty of unspoiled nature up close. Then visit Kobarid, the city of remembrance of the First World War and its museum which offers a dive into history. Climb to the Italian Ossuary on the hill overlooking Kobarid on your own (approx. 15-20 min walk). Overnight in Kobarid area in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 4:  Green Hill of Goriska Brda
    In the morning continue along the river towards Nova Gorica and visit sunny wine region between the  Alps and the Mediterranean. Meet English speaking hiking guide and explore the beautiful landscape on foot. On the way, pass villages with their typical churches and houses, hills covered with vineyards, olive trees and orchards (difficulty: moderate, duration: approx. 3-4 hours). Lunch at local inn. End the tour of the region with a visit to the local winemaker where you can learn the history of the wine tradition, taste wines and other local products. Overnight in Nova Gorica area in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 5:   Slovenia Coast
    Today explore Slovenian coastal area. Start with a visit of a local fish farm and the salt plains of
    Sečovlje. You will be greeted by a biologist who will give you a short presentation of work on the farm before boarding the boat which will take you to the cultivation baths. After visiting the farm, the boat will take you to the Sečovlje National Park where you will admire the salt marshes of Piran, you will learn how we produce salt and the history of the workers’ lives. Return to the starting point for a tasting of local products from the farm. Afterwards visit the town of Piran, a small Mediterranean town in the Venetian style. It is a very beautiful city with particular characteristics and whose urban heritage is the best preserved in the whole region. Venetian architecture mixes with medieval town planning, houses huddling together in narrow streets. Overnight in Slovenia costal area in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 6:  Škocjan caves and Predjama Castle
    Leave the coast and drive towards Slovenian capital. On the way, stop at the Škocjan caves which are on the UNESCO list. In these karst caves arbitrating the largest underground canyon in Europe which reaches up to 146 m high, several kilometers of observation trails are laid out today, with less than 500 steps. On the path that crosses breathtaking bridges, one can observe underground waterfalls, vast halls, gigantic concretions and other creations of the Reka karst river. Continue to Predjama where the castle of Predjama suspended in the cliff, it was made famous in the time of Erazem Predjamski, who lived there. Enter the castle to discover its rich history. Continue to Ljubljana area for overnight in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 7:  Ljubljana
    Get to know Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, located on the banks of Ljubljanica, with many
    bridges, parks and green spaces as well as impeccable nature. Discover the city with English speaking guide, climb to Ljubljana Castle and take a boat ride on the Ljubljanica river. Overnight in Ljubljana area in a campsite of your choice.

    Day 8:  Departure from Ljubljana airport
    Drive to campervan drop off point where you will meet your driver and transfer to Ljubljana airport.  Arrive airport.  *** end of services***
