  Day 1 Arrive in Belize and head directly toward San Ignacio, the energetic base for mainland adventure. On the way, stop at Xunantunich to climb El Castillo, where sweeping views extend across the jungle into Guatemala. Settle into San Ignacio for your first evening.

  Day 2 Journey into the rainforest to explore Caracol, Belize’s largest ancient Mayan center, hidden deep within the canopy. Follow the ruins with a cool dip in the freshwater pools and waterfalls of the Mountain Pine Ridge Reserve before returning to San Ignacio.

  Day 3 Wade through subterranean rivers and climb rock chambers to reach ancient ceremonial artifacts inside Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM Cave). Afterward, head back to the coast to catch the ferry over to Ambergris Caye.

  Day 4 Boat out to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley to swim alongside nurse sharks, stingrays, and sea turtles. Spend the rest of the day relaxing along San Pedro’s beachfront.

  Day 5 Take to the sky for a scenic flight over the Great Blue Hole to take in the sheer scale of the massive marine sinkhole ringed by coral reefs. Spend the remainder of your final full day enjoying Caribbean sea breezes and island relaxation.

  Day 6 Enjoy a final morning by the water before taking a water taxi or short flight back to the mainland for your international departure.
