Day 2 DUBROVNIK  Morning sightseeing of Dubrovnik (UNESCO-heritage). The city is surrounded by 2km of walls with towers built between 11th and 17th century. We recommend a walk on the city’s main street Stradun, visit to the Rector’s palace, the church of St Vlaho, the Cathedral, Franciscan monastery with one of the oldest pharmacies in Europe (14th century). Free afternoon in Dubrovnik. Possibility for a walk around city walls or funicular ride to the Srdj hill above Dubrovnik. Hotel in Dubrovnik.

Day 3 DUBROVNIK  Free day in Dubrovnik. Hotel in Dubrovnik. Possibility to visit Pelješac peninsula, known for its small villages and wineyards. There is also the Grgich vinery there, founded by the world-known Croatian-born Californian wine-maker from Napa Valley, Grgich Hills Estate (35km from Ston, ca 40min ride, narrow local road, it can be added to the itinerary, if the clients would like). Visit of Ston, old town, known for its long city walls, the oldest preserved salt works in the history of Mediterranean, where salt is still harvested by hand, as well as the well-known oyster farms and excellent seafood.

Day 4DUBROVNIK – TROGIR – SPLIT  Departure to Trogir (UNESCO-heritage) and sightseeing of the town often called town-museum, a remarkable example of urban continuity for more than 2800 years, as today’s town is built on layers of the Hellenistic and Roman city. Sightseeing of Split, forever young city with warm Mediterranean temper which lives its urban rhythm for as long as 1700 years, with its heart in the roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace from 3rd century AD (UNESCO-heritage) with still preserved Peristyle in the intersection of Cardo and Decumanus streets. The Emperor’s mausoleum is today Split St.Domnius Cathedral. Hotel in Split.

Day 5SPLIT – ŠIBENIK – SPLIT  Morning half day excursion to Šibenik and visit of the beautiful old town. Sightseeing of Šibenik including its famous St.James Cathedral (UNESCO-heritage), the most important gothic-renaissance monument in the region, built entirely of stone plates in the unique way, so the outside volume corresponds entirely with the shape of its interior. Šibenik is also well-known for its fortresses, one of them, St.Nicholas Fortress (UNESCO-heritage) built at the entrance to the sea channel leading to Šibenik port. Return to Split.

Day 6SPLIT – NATIONAL PARK PLITVICE LAKES – ZAGREB  Departure to National Park Plitvice lakes (UNESCO-heritage). The network of paths and bridges allows visitors to be part of this natural wonderland. Sightseeing also by panoramic electric train and ride by boat on the biggest lake, Kozjak. Afternoon ride to Zagreb.
