Cooking Experience in Friuli-Venezia Giulia





This cooking program will provide you with a chance to get to know one of Italy’s most versatile and beautiful regions, Friuli-Venezia Giulia. This varied region is characterized by different landscapes which go from the smooth hills of Collio to the picturesque Trieste coastline, from the middle-European architecture of Trieste to the graceful Venetian architecture of Udine.
This variety can also be savoured through its rich cuisine together with its world famous white wines and its outstanding red ones. In addition to its cooking program, the farmhouse you will be staying at also offers wine cellar visits, strolls through the vineyards, and other activities on request such as painting and wellness courses. Other activities offered are tennis, riding, and golf within 20 minutes by car. There is also a restaurant that serves local products as well as products from the farmhouse.


Itinerary
  • Visit Trieste, Miramare castle, Collio D.O.C wine area, Cividale, the Roman city of Aquileia and Grado in Friuli-Venezia Giulia
  • Comfortable accommodation in a quality farmhouse in the Friulian hills
  • Delicious refined and typical dinners with Italian and local specialities, D.O.C wines included at dinner
  • Hands-on cooking classes
  • Visit a cheese maker, a mill, and a wine cellar

  • 4 nights with buffet breakfast in a farmhouse situated in the Friulian hills

  • 3 cooking classes (hands-on, recipes provided, 2:00 pm-5: 30 pm) at the farmhouse

  • Car rental for 4 days, car type Fiat Punto, Renault Clio or Polo (all with air-conditioning), 5 seats, 5 doors, including illimitated mileage, taxes, partial insurances. In case of 6 persons price is based on car type Ford Transit Combi or Fiat Ducato with 9 seats and air-conditioning. Car pick up in Perugia or in other Italian cities
