Itinerary


Day 1

• Accommodation at Maison La Ninfa, a small family run hotel; nestled into the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast, offering breathtaking views from each beautifully appointed guest room.
• Before dinner, you meet your host and receive a brief description of your culinary program.
• Depart for Zaccaria's, one of the most famous restaurants in Amalfi, and enjoy a delicious seafood dinner with a view. Zaccaria’s, a family run restaurant, is known on the coast for their fresh seafood dishes. Enjoy dinner with a view as you dine, perched over the cliffs of the Amalfi coast.

Day 2

• After breakfast depart to Amalfi /Pontone for your first cooking lesson.
• Lesson held in the private home of Zaccaria’s, where La Signora Zaccaria will share her cooking secrets that have made the restaurant well known.
• After lunch return to Amalfi, where you can enjoy a leisurely walk or use the public transportation. The balance of the day offers time to explore the surrounding area.

Day 3

• After breakfast the lesson will take place at Zaccaria’s restaurant, where you will receive hands on experience on the preparation of seafood dishes that you will enjoy during your lunch.
• Dinner in Positano in one of its famous restaurants and after dinner time to stroll around or sit in an outdoor café and enjoy an espresso or gelato.
• Return to the hotel by taxi.

Day 4

• After breakfast, mid-morning transfer to Sorrento, Palazzo Marziale, a five star small family-run palatial hotel. Situated in the heart of Sorrento.
• Paola and her staff will welcome you with a cocktail and a delicious light lunch.
• Time to visit Sorrento and back to Paola’s for a cooking lesson with the flavour of the Sorrentine Peninsula, then enjoy a delicious dinner in the enchanting luxurious courtyard garden. Paolo and her staff, with their warm hospitality, will make you feel like nobility.

Day 5

• Early start with breakfast and depart for a full day in Capri.
• Paolo will send you off with a picnic lunch for you to enjoy on the beach.
• Transfer to the Ferry Port and spend a full day in Capri with a personal escort to guide you through this romantic island,
• Return and evening at leisure to dine in one of the wonderful restaurants of Sorrento... Try a Pizza Alla Napolitana (The Original Pizza)

Day 6

• After an early breakfast, travel to Pompeii, meet your local guide, and visit this incredible Archeological site.
• Continue on to Villa La Porta, a beautiful 1600’s villa nestled in the foothills that adorn the Bay of Naples. Visit the wine cellar at the villa and learn the secrets of this dungeon wine cellar, dating back hundreds of years. As you climb down the narrow passageway, you will admire the collection of wines encased in its walls. Wine tasting with lunch prepared by Chef Giuseppe and his expert staff. After lunchtime, wander around and explore this beautiful villa and its countryside settings.
• Later in the afternoon, you will go on a short drive to Vico Equense and visit a small manufacturer of mozzarella cheese where you can taste the true Mozzarella made with Buffalo milk, or visit a Limoncello and ice cream factory with a tasting of Gabrielle’s famous cakes.
• Evening return to Sorrento. Leisure time for dinner on your own.

Day 7

• Breakfast and time to explore more of Sorrento. At 16:30 go back to Paola’s for your last cooking lesson.
• After the lesson, enjoy a Gala dinner and Paola will tell us that a surprise awaits you.

Day 8

• After breakfast time, say goodbye to new friends and transfer to Naples Airport or Railway station for your onward journey, taking with you memories and the flavours of this romantic coastline.
