La Cucina Della Masserina

Description

The word “masseria” defines an ancient self-sufficient rural structure held by Landlords in southern Italy in the last centuries where grain lives and grapes were transformed. The cooking class is held in a delightful agriturismo in the Sicilian countryside, in Piana degli Albanesi, the area where H.M. Ferdinand III de Borbon built his Regal Hunting Mansion the “Regio Casino” in the nearby Ficuzza Wood. Salvatore is our chef. Even though his English is not too fluent, he is able to convey his passion - cooking - as he shares with you the secrets of Sicilian country cuisine. Specifically with the culinary traditions of the surrounding area of Palermo province.
